Rani Mukherji hurts her nose while shooting with Konkona Sen.

While shooting in the holy city of Varanasi, there were enough brawls with the public and the media persons on the banks of the Holy River Ganges. I am talking about the film Laaga Chunri Mein Daag of the Yashraj Banner. Recently on the sets of the same film while shooting a dance sequence the actress Rani Mukherji got injured and bleeding started from her nose. It came to be known that Konkona was holding a toy in the dance sequence and that toy fell from the hands of Konkona to cause the injury on the face of Rani Mukherji. Konkona was immediately remorseful but Rani took the incident normally and courageously went on to complete the shooting.

On the march 21 Rani Mukherjee celebrated her birthday along with her old schoolmates and pals, when some media channel hosted a small get-together for them. On this occasion Rani was seen humming some rhymes in Bengali along with her pals. This year she turned 29. When she started her career she was just 17 years old, within 12 years she worked in nearly 40 films and won many accolades. Today she is the number one actress in the Hindi film Industry. In the year 2007, release two of her films Laaga Chunri Mein Daag and Tara Rum Pum are expected. I wish her luck for her forthcoming releases and a very Happy Birthday.

When she went through the scripts of the Tara Rum Pum it immediately reminded the struggles of her mother to sail out her family through the rough patch of time. In the film Rani is also playing the character of a wife whose husband is down with an accident. She got so emotional that she dedicated the title number of the film to her mother.
